Unemployment ran out before I found work

I exhausted my benefits and have 9 interviews lined up. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. What did you do after benefits ran out?

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
