My unemployment benefits end in 17 weeks and I have not found work as a graphic designer. I am in Charlotte, in case local advice matters. I am willing to take a temporary job. Did you find short-term work?

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.
