Trimming expenses while I search - what worked for you?

My income dropped to unemployment benefits and my bills have not changed. I worked as a security officer before this. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. Did any lender work with you?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
