Trimming expenses while I search (update)

I have 4 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a bank teller. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What did you cut first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.
