Trimming expenses while I search, payroll clerk here

We are a household of 16 and need to cut costs quickly. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. What did you cut first?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $700 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
