Trimming expenses while I search - first time posting

I have 8 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a bookkeeper. It has been a long 14 weeks. Rent and the car are the biggest costs.

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.
