Trimming expenses while I search - first time posting

We are a household of 3 and need to cut costs quickly. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What did you cut first?

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $700 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
