Trimming expenses while I search - any advice?

I have 7 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a forklift operator. It has been a long 6 weeks. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What did you cut first?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
