Trimming expenses while I search - any advice?

I have 3 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a school bus driver. There are 17 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What did you cut first?

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.
