Trimming expenses while I search - any advice?

I have 3 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as an administrative assistant. Any experience at all would help. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. What helped the most?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
