Trimming expenses while I search - any advice?

We are a household of 13 and need to cut costs quickly. I am in Providence, in case local advice matters. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. What did you cut first?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
