Trimming expenses while I search - any advice?

I have 8 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a production planner. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What did you cut first?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $100 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
