Trimming expenses while I search after 9 years as a store manager

We are a household of 9 and need to cut costs quickly. It has been weighing on me all week. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What did you cut first?

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.
