Trimming expenses while I search after 16 years as a dental hygienist

We are a household of 16 and need to cut costs quickly. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. What did you cut first?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $1050 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.
