Trimming expenses while I search after 13 years as a janitorial supervisor

We are a household of 13 and need to cut costs quickly. Thank you in advance. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What helped the most?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
