Trimming expenses while I search - 17 weeks in

I have 6 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as an event coordinator. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What did you cut first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
