Telling my partner I lost my job (update)

My spouse does not know yet that I was let go as a security officer. Bills are coming up and I cannot keep this quiet. How did you handle it?

I told my partner the same evening with a simple plan: what happened, what I was doing and what I needed. It was a relief.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 12 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
