Telling my partner I lost my job, production planner here

I was laid off 8 weeks ago and have not told my family because I do not want them to worry. I do not usually post, so bear with me. Bills are coming up and I cannot keep this quiet. How did you handle it?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
