Telling my partner I lost my job (Memphis)

My spouse does not know yet that I was let go as a bookkeeper. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I feel ashamed even though the company cut a whole team.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
