Telling my partner I lost my job

I was laid off 6 weeks ago and have not told my family because I do not want them to worry. Thank you in advance. I want a plan before I speak.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Do not wait until a bill surprises them. The longer it goes, the harder it gets.
