Should I negotiate my severance? (update)

I was offered 10 weeks of severance after 10 years as a procurement assistant, and I have a few days to sign. There are 10 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. It includes health coverage for a couple of months. What did you ask for?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
