Should I negotiate my severance?, security officer here

I was offered 8 weeks of severance after 8 years as a security officer, and I have a few days to sign. There is a non-disparagement clause. Should I see a lawyer?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
