Should I negotiate my severance?, IT help-desk technician here

I was offered 13 weeks of severance after 13 years as an IT help-desk technician, and I have a few days to sign. There are 13 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. It includes health coverage for a couple of months. Did anyone negotiate and succeed?

Read the release carefully. Mine included things I did not expect, like a non-compete.
