Should I negotiate my severance? - 8 months and counting

I was offered 5 weeks of severance after 5 years as a data-entry clerk, and I have a few days to sign. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. It includes health coverage for a couple of months.

Read the release carefully. Mine included things I did not expect, like a non-compete.
