Should I negotiate my severance? - 24 weeks in

I was offered 13 weeks of severance after 13 years as a payroll clerk, and I have a few days to sign. It has been a long 24 weeks. It includes health coverage for a couple of months. Should I see a lawyer?

Read the release carefully. Mine included things I did not expect, like a non-compete.
