Should I negotiate my severance?

I was offered 9 weeks of severance after 9 years as a bookkeeper, and I have a few days to sign. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. It includes health coverage for a couple of months.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
