Severance offer, what should I ask for? - what worked for you?

I was offered 6 weeks of severance after 6 years as an office manager, and I have a few days to sign. I worked as an office manager before this. There is a non-disparagement clause. What did you ask for?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
