Severance offer, what should I ask for? (update)

I was offered 6 weeks of severance after 6 years as a hotel front-desk agent, and I have a few days to sign. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I do not want to leave money on the table. What did you ask for?

Read the release carefully. Mine included things I did not expect, like a non-compete.
