Severance offer, what should I ask for? (Salt Lake City)

I was offered 13 weeks of severance after 13 years as an electrician's helper, and I have a few days to sign. It has been a long 24 weeks. It includes health coverage for a couple of months. Should I see a lawyer?

An hour with an employment lawyer cost me a small fee and made me feel much safer about signing.
