Severance offer, what should I ask for? (Pittsburgh)

I was offered 18 weeks of severance after 18 years as a dental hygienist, and I have a few days to sign. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I do not want to leave money on the table. Did anyone negotiate and succeed?

An hour with an employment lawyer cost me a small fee and made me feel much safer about signing.
