Severance offer, what should I ask for? (Memphis)

I was offered 6 weeks of severance after 6 years as an electrician's helper, and I have a few days to sign. There are 6 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. It includes health coverage for a couple of months. What did you ask for?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
