Severance offer, what should I ask for?, forklift operator here

I was offered 8 weeks of severance after 8 years as a forklift operator, and I have a few days to sign. There is a non-disparagement clause.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
