Severance offer, what should I ask for? after 6 years as a retail manager

I was offered 6 weeks of severance after 6 years as a retail manager, and I have a few days to sign. This is my first time dealing with any of this. It includes health coverage for a couple of months.

Read the release carefully. Mine included things I did not expect, like a non-compete.
