Severance offer, what should I ask for? after 3 years as a sales associate

The company sent a severance agreement with a release of claims, and I am unsure what to do. There are 3 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. It includes health coverage for a couple of months.

Ask for the offer in writing and do not sign on the spot. A day or two to think is normal.
