Severance offer, what should I ask for? after 14 years as an HR coordinator

I was offered 14 weeks of severance after 14 years as an HR coordinator, and I have a few days to sign. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. It includes health coverage for a couple of months. Should I see a lawyer?
