Severance offer, what should I ask for? - 4 months and counting

The company sent a severance agreement with a release of claims, and I am unsure what to do. There are 4 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. There is a non-disparagement clause. Did anyone negotiate and succeed?

An hour with an employment lawyer cost me a small fee and made me feel much safer about signing.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
