Severance offer, what should I ask for?

I was offered 4 weeks of severance after 4 years as a logistics coordinator, and I have a few days to sign. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I do not want to leave money on the table. Should I see a lawyer?

An hour with an employment lawyer cost me a small fee and made me feel much safer about signing.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
