Severance agreement arrived, need a second opinion - what worked for you?

I was offered 16 weeks of severance after 16 years as an office manager, and I have a few days to sign. I do not want to leave money on the table. Should I see a lawyer?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
