Severance agreement arrived, need a second opinion - what worked for you?

I was offered 4 weeks of severance after 4 years as a bookkeeper, and I have a few days to sign. I worked as a bookkeeper before this. I do not want to leave money on the table. Did anyone negotiate and succeed?

Read the release carefully. Mine included things I did not expect, like a non-compete.
