Severance agreement arrived, need a second opinion - what worked for you?

I was offered 6 weeks of severance after 6 years as a bookkeeper, and I have a few days to sign. Any experience at all would help. It includes health coverage for a couple of months. What did you ask for?

Read the release carefully. Mine included things I did not expect, like a non-compete.
