Severance agreement arrived, need a second opinion - what worked for you?

I was offered 13 weeks of severance after 13 years as a forklift operator, and I have a few days to sign. There are 13 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. It includes health coverage for a couple of months. Should I see a lawyer?

Read the release carefully. Mine included things I did not expect, like a non-compete.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
