Severance agreement arrived, need a second opinion - what worked for you?

I was offered 9 weeks of severance after 9 years as a customer-service rep, and I have a few days to sign. I do not want to leave money on the table. Should I see a lawyer?

Read the release carefully. Mine included things I did not expect, like a non-compete.
