Severance agreement arrived, need a second opinion, bookkeeper here

I was offered 10 weeks of severance after 10 years as a bookkeeper, and I have a few days to sign. I have been trying to stay organised about it. It includes health coverage for a couple of months. Should I see a lawyer?

Read the release carefully. Mine included things I did not expect, like a non-compete.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
