Severance agreement arrived, need a second opinion after 4 years as a data-entry clerk

My manager said the package is final, but the letter gives me time to review. There are 4 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. It includes health coverage for a couple of months.

Ask for the offer in writing and do not sign on the spot. A day or two to think is normal.

Read the release carefully. Mine included things I did not expect, like a non-compete.
