Severance agreement arrived, need a second opinion - 11 months and counting

I was offered 14 weeks of severance after 14 years as a call-centre agent, and I have a few days to sign. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I do not want to leave money on the table. Should I see a lawyer?

Read the release carefully. Mine included things I did not expect, like a non-compete.
