Severance agreement arrived, need a second opinion

I was offered 5 weeks of severance after 5 years as a call-centre agent, and I have a few days to sign. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I do not want to leave money on the table. Should I see a lawyer?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 2 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I asked for two more weeks and a neutral reference. They agreed to the reference and added a week.
