Rough week after the layoff, anyone else? - what worked for you?

I have been out of work for 6 weeks and this week has been the hardest. I am in Denver, in case local advice matters. I do not want to burden my family. Did it pass?

Many counselling centres have sliding-scale rates. I found one through 211, and it made a difference.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
