Rough week after the layoff, anyone else? - what worked for you?

I sent 4 applications and heard nothing back, and I am running low on energy. It has been weighing on me all week. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working. Is it worth talking to someone?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

A fixed routine helped me most: up at the same time, one hour of job search, then a walk. Small but it worked.
