Rough week after the layoff, anyone else? - what worked for you?

After a layoff as an IT help-desk technician I am finding mornings difficult. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working. Is it worth talking to someone?

A fixed routine helped me most: up at the same time, one hour of job search, then a walk. Small but it worked.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
