Rough week after the layoff, anyone else? - what worked for you?

I sent 5 applications and heard nothing back, and I am running low on energy. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working. Is it worth talking to someone?

A fixed routine helped me most: up at the same time, one hour of job search, then a walk. Small but it worked.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
